Thru-Hole Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Placement Technology
Hi-Tech Electronics has a wide array of thru-hole placement equipment to suit equipment manufacturers from low volume/high mix to large production runs. Hi-Tech's flexible equipment allows for adjustable tooling so separate fixtures are not needed for your assemblies. Our Auto-Insertion equipment places components at speeds up to 15,000 placements per hour.
Thru-hole technology places components on a PCB by inserting component leads through holes in the PCB board. Once the PCB is fully populated with components, the assembly is passed through a wave solder machine which solders the components to the PCB.
